I couldn’t speak and I just froze

As my fear arose. 

It’s an unexplainable feeling

this idea is quite unappealing.

I wish these bricks would fall off my back.

As the walls around me started to crack 

You are not welcome in my mind.

Ways to cope are hard to find.

Anxiety is the dragon that is hard to slay;

but my mind continues to wonder and stray

Please anxiety, go away.
