As this year’s Executive Ambassador, what goals for the school do you have in mind?

Right now some of my goals are to keep people excited about school and keep the school spirit up because this year a lot of people don’t like online school and are sad about all the things going on in 2020. As ambassador, it’s important to get people involved with clubs and other activities even though we aren’t in school.

What does your position mean to you personally?

I love helping people and as ambassador for the school and the activities on campus I can do that even more. I’ve been in ASB since freshman year and I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I want kids to be excited and a part of something during these troubling times.

What was it like campaigning this year? Any specific support system that encouraged you?

This year for campaigning was difficult because I was running by myself. Even though I was running unopposed, I had a lot of support from my friends. Also last year’s seniors encouraged me to take a bigger role in our campus and I agreed because I knew there were plenty more opportunities to become a great leader.

How would you describe the new board’s team dynamic?

I like this new executive board a lot even though I am the only junior and the only guy. I’ve known them for a while and I know we work great together as a team and as a leadership group. We have a great dynamic and play off each other’s strengths.
