This year the Annual 67th Grammys took place with everyone’s favorite artist, musicians and celebrities. Every year throughout the months of September to August of the next the academy looks for everyone’s popular artist to nominate for this award. The first year the red carpet was introduced was in 1961 for the Grammys with fashion from many different designers. Today popular brands for the grammy include Prada, Gucci, Channel, Dolce and Gabbana, etc but some celebrities also go to small businesses for their specially designed outfits.
Kayne West and Bianca Censori
A big topic of discussion of the awards show was Bianca Censori’s outfit that was picked out by her husband Kanye West who was formerly married to Kim Kardashian. On the red carpet she wore a long black fur jacket with a see through bodysuit that revealed everything. Kanye wearing a black shirt and black dress plants with sunglasses.
On the carpet standing next to his wife expressionless. After this controversy he has spoken out about saying he ‘’Conquered the Grammys’’ the famous rapper spoke out about the controversy the next day.
One of our Saugus centurions in an interview shared her feelings about Bianca’s choice of an outfit and her favorite outfits that the celebrities wore. ‘’ I think the girl who wasn’t wearing anything was ‘’interesting’’ and it wasn’t appropriate to wear that on live tv and it creates a imagery and its not good to wear something like that in general’’ ‘’My favorite outfit would probably be Sabrina Carpenters and Taylor Swifts was very good’’.
Another hot topic at the red carpet was Jayden Smith and Willow smith. Actress Will Smith’s son came with as news articles are saying ‘’Ridiculous’’ his outfit consisted of an all black tuxedo with a castle on his head just showing his face with his sister Willow wearing a long black coat with a short black strapless top with matching bottoms. With their father wearing an all black tuxedo also with white tassels along the buttons and on the ends of his sleeves.
Doechii, another huge name at this year’s red carpet, wore a fitted white buttoned down long sleeve with a fitted off the shoulder jumpsuit with a tie. She won Rap album of the year, New Artist, and Rap performance of the year. There has only ever been 2 Females to win Rap Album of the year in the past, this year Doechii was added to that list making her the 3rd ever female to win this award. In the past Lauryn Hill was the first ever female and Cardi B was the second to receive this award.
With all of these being said many huge topics were found on the red carpet, to scandalous, revealing outfits to castles being worn on heads and female rap history in the making wearing a suit can all be found at our yearly awards show.
