Each fast food restaurant serves various types of fries such as waffle fries, curly fries, crinkle, and potato wedges. Firstly to start with in n out fries they were really salty and crunchy. They also had a fresh potato flavor. Next Chick-fil-a fries have a perfect size for fries and has a good taste. Wingstop has a very crunchy texture and has a lot of flavor on the fries. Carl’s Jr did not have a fresh taste and were very crunchy.
The Saugus Scroll interviewed an In n Out worker and a Wingstop worker. When we interviewed the In n Out employee we asked how they cook their fries and he said it was very simple and that he cuts the potato with a machine and puts it in the fryer with oil and then when cooked fully adds season.
When we asked the Wingstop worker it was a totally different experience yet still very simple. So when we asked how they cook their fries he said that they cut the potatoes and put in an air fryer and take out when done and shake the fries around in the different seasonings.
All in all both fast food restaurants are good and have different ways to cook their fries and serve their customers. Each employee has a very simple task and considering the fact that every restaurant has fresh potatoes and makes it like that instead of just buying the cut potatoes and refrigerating them.
We also went to Las Delicias, which is not fast food. Their fries are very crunchy and oily yet have a good potato flavor. This is very different from the fast food restaurants yet every restaurant has a similar way of making the fries. By ranking each fry the best one was probably Wingstop’s fries out of all.
Every fry was fresh yet the fries that were crunchy ones from Las Delicias weren’t as good as the seasoned Wingstop fries. Every fry that comes from a restaurant is made a certain way for the customers to be satisfied. It is remarkable that even though they use the same way to cook each fry that they all have a different taste and different after taste in your mouth. If the Saugus Scroll were to rate the fries from 1-10 we would rate 1 as Wingstop.
Even though some of the options of fries were not as good we still love all the places equally. Each place has different varieties of fries and some can be fresh and some can’t. So if we were to rank all the fries 1-10 Wingstop would be first, Chic Fil A would be second, In n out would be third, Carl’s Jr fourth, and so on. Each and every fast food restaurant was a good environment and they all cooked their fries similarly so how did they all taste different and not at all the same?
We also tried del taco whose fries were very crunchy and thin but they excel with the flavor. It’s a great option for craving fries. The environment in the restaurant was good and smelled of food. It would be a great experience and option yet it wouldn’t be top five in rating for which fast food restaurants fries are the best tasting.
We also tried Taco Bell fries and they were soggy-ish yet had a really good and rich flavor. These fries were soggy because of all the ingredients because they aren’t just regular fries they are nacho fries.
The best out of these fast food restaurants was In n out because they are reasonably priced, rich flavored, and have a nice crunch. Second would be Chick-fil-a because of their good crunch and salt amount and good, rich flavoring. Third would be WingStop because they have a really good amount of seasoning and a really nice crunch as well. Fourth would be Del Taco because sometimes they are not the best but are thin and crunchy. And lastly would be Taco Bell because they have a soggy texture because of all the melted cheese and hot sour cream.
The top five were the top five because they had no bad side like they are always good and never soggy. The last ones were last because they had a bad side and could be soggy and lacking in flavor.
