With the weather cooling, the fall season is just around the corner! There is so much you can do to prepare for the fall season including putting up decorations. The variety of decorations goes on and on with things like cute pumpkins, fall blankets, etc and there are so many places to shop for fall decor!
Fall time is one of the best times with so many things to do to get in the spirit.
Decorating is so much fun when it gets to the fall time if it’s decorating your room or your entire house! Let’s start with room decorations, there are things from candles, fall blankets, lights, bed throws, and more. For candles, you can put them in your room to get the full fall aesthetic, a few of the best fall scents are from Bath and Body Works with the candle sweet cinnamon pumpkin with notes of warm vanilla and brown sugar and another popular scent is pumpkin vanilla creme with notes of ground nutmeg. There are also really cute fall blankets and fall throws that you can get to make your room feel more cozy! Places that have these blankets and throws are Tj Maxx and Marshalls, they have things from fall blankets with cute pumpkins on them to things like throws with leaves and other fall patterns! More bed decor for fall could include cute pillows like little ghosts, big pumpkins, or fall colors like orange and yellow. For room lights, Amazon has such a good variety from cute pumpkin lights or fall leaves to string orange lights.
There is a good selection for room decor but there’s an even better variety of things for all around the house! There are many ideas of stuff to put around the house from things like fall ceramics, signs, big pumpkins, and more. One of the best places to shop is Homegoods with their selections ranging from decorative ceramics to centerpieces and signs. For example, for ceramics, Homegoods has so many different ones like big or small colored pumpkins and they have other things like little ghosts. Good places to put these are on a dining room table with fake fall leaves around them and maybe some candles or on a side table with a little fall sign. Signs for fall can be found at places like Homegoods or Hobby Lobby, some signs have fall sayings on them or just pictures. These can be put anywhere from the entrance or the living room to the kitchen. A cute idea to do for fall is to make a centerpiece for a table, many things for a centerpiece could be found at Hobby Lobby with things like fall bouquets of fake flowers to cute ribbon to put with it. There are many more options but these are just some ideas you can do for the fall season!
Many people have put some stuff up already but a lot haven’t yet because the weather is postponing the fall feeling. In an interview with Saugus freshmen, a part of the JV Cheer Team, Mia Garcia, she says “So far I haven’t put anything up yet but I usually put up cute pumpkins around my house and warm colored lights in my room. I almost always have a pumpkin spice scented candle because that is a must for fall!” Even though the weather is still a bit warm, it is going to cool down soon and so it’s the perfect time to start putting up things to begin getting in the fall spirit!
