In a competitive world of High school sports, only a few students are able to fully excel in both the classroom and the court. Kimora Hogains, a rising star in the volleyball scene at saugus is proving that having endless dedication, talent and relentless work ethic is able to lead to an incredible success. Whether she is serving aces on the court or being able to push herself to achieve academic excellence, Kimora is becoming a standout student – athlete and a big source of pride for her school and her community.
Kimora has been killing it on the court at Saugus High School. She has truly begun to shine, and as a member of the varsity team, she has been seen as such a dominant presence on the court. She is known for her quick reflexes, athleticism and leadership. She has a natural ability to understand the game and make big plays when her team needs her the most. This has earned her the respect of both her teammates and coaches.
In her sophomore year, Kimora played a pivotal role in her leadership for the Saugus Centurions in the playoffs. She displayed strong defensive skills as a libero and her abilities to communicate with her team that has made her a key part in her team’s success. Her ability to serve receive and her passing accuracy have been seen as her best skills, and have been constantly her way of setting up her teammates for kills and earning points for the team.
In her previous season Kimora was able to take her game to a whole new level where she became one of the team’s top scorers with her aggressiveness on her serves and her smart attacking plays. She has displayed an ability to stay calm under immense pressure and has also earned the title of All – League first team, as such an impressive recognition that has highlighted her status as one of the top players in league.
Something that has been able to set Kimora apart from many of the other athletes in Foothill is her leadership qualities. As a team captain she is understanding the importance of being able to build team chemistry and provide a supportive environment. She has led by example, showing her teammates that success is a result of hard work, discipline and having mutual trust. And whether it’s her cheering on her teammates or her during practice giving wise words of encouragement before a tough game, kimora is always there to help her teammates grow and improve.

Her commitment to volleyball has been able to extend far beyond her high school team. Kimora has participated in club volleyball where she is continuously honing her skills and competing at such a high level. Her dedication to not only school but also club teams shows everyone how much she loves the game and the work that comes with it.
Kimora’s success isn’t limited to the volleyball court. She is a committed student athlete who is excelling in academic studies while being able to manage the demands of being a varsity athlete. She balances practices, games and homework and this is not an easy feat, but Kimora has learned how to manage her time effectively and is achieving good grades and maintaining a strong GPA.
When asking Kimora some questions about herself she answers very thoroughly talking about how she has always tried to stay very organized with school,volleyball and work. She says those are her main priorities. She continued to speak on how her family and friends have helped her a ton with volleyball. Her teammates have always pushed her to be the best version of herself whether it’s in practice or games Kimora finished by saying how her goals this season is to help her team make it as far as possible in the season. Individually she is focusing on being more consistent in life and volleyball and if she can do that she believes she can achieve great things this year.
Kimora Hogains is one hard worker, she has a deliberate passion and determination. From her leadership qualities on the court to her academic excellence in the class, Kimora has exemplified what it means to be a student athlete. Her journey is nowhere near over and she cannot wait to see all the incredible things waiting to happen on the road ahead.
