When Rhode launched in Sephora, it was a huge deal. Everybody was completely surprised. It was like everybody came in to test it out, and the whole line sold out in a week. Sephora is known for carrying so many different skincare and makeup lines, but Rhode was different. It was a brand that wasn’t even around long enough before it got this type of exposure. Seriously, it was almost surprising that Rhode was able to even sell in such a big retailer like Sephora, but shoppers were totally ready for it.
Rhode was created by Hailey Bieber, who is a celebrity, influencer, and model. She launched the brand on the 15th of June, 2022, and from the very start, everyone was extremely interested. Hailey’s followers were all excited to try the products because they trusted her fashion sense and judgment. She had a line of skincare products in mind that is simple, effective, and not too pricey, with the goal of being able to give people healthy, glowing skin. Rhode products are all about nourishing the skin and making it look alert and radiant, which is kind of what Hailey always seems to have. Rhode was not everywhere at first. It was an online brand and sold out super quickly, much like it did at Sephora! The secret to the brand’s success seems to be a mixture of Hailey’s fame and the fact that the products work. So while Rhode was still a new brand, people were keen to know what it was going to do, and the products were talked about enough. Then on September 4th, 2025, Rhode finally launched big at Sephora. That was such a huge deal for the brand! It was almost like a huge jump up for Rhode, because Sephora is just so famous for beauty products. When it was released in stores, consumers didn’t wait, they stocked it so fast. The brand was now officially in the beauty space, and everyone knew that Rhode wasn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

How excited were you when you heard of this drop?
¨I had already heard some pretty good things about the brand, so I was super excited to try out some of her products.”
Did you order online before it came to Sephora?
¨No, I never wanted to wait for delivery. I prefer to shop in person so I can try out products before I buy them.¨
Did the products have a positive or negative effect on your skin?
¨After using the products for about 2 weeks, I’ve seen many improvements to my skin. My ache cleared up and I look fresh every morning.¨
What products would you recommend to a friend in need?
¨I really like the glazing milk and the barrier restore cream. I found that the barrier butter is too thick of a formula and can irritate my sensitive skin. If you have sensitive dry skin, I would recommend you get the barrier restore cream and the glazing milk for a glowing healthy face.¨
