From August 12, 2025 to August 22, 2025, the girls frosh volleyball team has already gone through four games. After three great wins and one loss, the frosh team is expected to have a great season. Setter, Melinda Rodriguez had many words to say about the past four games.
In a quick conversation with Melinda after the game, it is very clear that the “Cents” are motivated this year.
“After going 2-0, we started getting in our heads, and thought we were better than every team going into games. We then had a rude awakening against Ventura. After that loss the whole team almost just clicked, and we haven’t lost since, and don’t plan to any time soon.”
Melinda also mentioned:
“Our next few games are ‘league games’ and we’re more hungry than ever. Our game this Thursday is against Canyon, and we’ll do whatever it takes to win”
AND AGAIN SAUGUS WINS!!!!!!!
After their blowout against Canyon, It’s obvious that Saugus is dominating. Gwen Wilson had a couple words after the game.
“Honestly we’ve just been working so hard in practice. We’re all ‘locked in’ and want to win league. We’re often doubted for being freshmen, but we don’t see a difference.”
It’s clear that Saugus is hungry and wants to win!
