
Prom 2025
Prom is taking place at the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles on May 3rd from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm. The theme for Saugus High School’s prom is ‘The Great Gala’. Essentially, this theme is very similar to The Great Gatsby and outfits should be over-the-top, lavish, and bright! Students must pick up a Prom Packet at the ASB store before they pay for their tickets so they understand the rules they must follow at this event. Ticket prices will increase each week but the starting price is $195. Most importantly, this is a formal event and all guests must wear appropriate attire! Guests (age 20 and under) must also bring ID’s as if you don’t, you will not be allowed to enter. When arriving for Prom, students should meet in the black top area near the gym, where they will go through security, then be boarded on the charter buses. It will be around an hour drive to the Biltmore Hotel. Buses will start bringing back students at roughly 10:00 pm.
Beach Party and Yearbook Distribution
The Senior Beach party will occur on May 12th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm! Students should meet near the Saugus High School gym or quad area. The tickets for this event will be sold at the ASB store for $25 and they include passes for In-N-Out Burger and Kona Ice. Yearbooks will also be passed out at the Beach Party if they were already paid for, that way seniors can sign each other’s books. The last day to buy tickets is May 9th.
C.A.P.R. Awards
On May 19th, this prestigious event will occur at 6:00 pm in the Saugus High School gym. This event is by invitation only, so not all of the Senior class will be able to attend. The purpose of this event is to show students and family the achievements Saugus Seniors have made, whether that is academically, in relation to community service, or about recipients of scholarships.
Cap and Gown Delivery and Photo
Seniors should meet on May 23th at the gym at approximately 7:30 am to receive their gap and gown that they pre ordered and to take a Senior class panoramic picture. The picture will cost $30 to print, and to order online a QR code will be given.
Graduation Practice
Practice will take place the morning of Graduation on May 29th at 7:00 am. Students should meet at the COC football field and find their assigned seat. 10 tickets will also be given for family or friends that want to come to Graduation later that day.
Graduation
Graduation will occur on May 29th at College of the Canyons at 7:00 pm. Seniors are expected to go to their assigned staging area by 5:45 pm. This is also an event to wear appropriate attire. This is what Seniors have been working toward for the past 13 years, so make it a night to count! In order to receive your actual diploma, students must go to the forum entrance the next day at around 8:15 am to receive their diploma. IDs must be brought and no parents are allowed to pick up diplomas for their students.
Grad Night
The last Senior event will take place on May 30th at Universal Studios! This trip will last from 4:00 pm to 1:00 am. It is expected that students will act appropriately and understand that they must follow Universal and District policies. Additional information will be sent to students in May.
