The Los Angeles Dodgers have won the National League West title once again. The Dodger game took place on September 26th, against the superior San Diego Padres. The Dodgers played home at Dodger Stadium down in Los Angeles. It was a sellout crowd where 52,433 fans attended this exciting game. The hardworking Dodgers showed up to win as they never disappoint the fans when taking the victory titles.
The playoffs are approaching very quickly so the Dodgers are gonna be taking these days to prepare to take on the Padres. The Dodgers have high hopes of making it to the world series, so they will put all their commitment into winning the division series. The Dodgers can beat any team that will come up against them because of their love and bonds with the team and the beautiful game of baseball. The Dodgers will do whatever it takes to make the city of Los Angeles proud.
The Dodgers are playing the Padres in all of the league division games. The next game Dodgers play is against the Padres on Saturday October 5th, then they continue to play the Padres again on the 6th, 8th, 9th and 11th. Right now they are playing the national league division series so if the Dodgers win, they go to the National League champion series. Then, if they win the National League, they go to the World Series.
Key Players
Some key players from this past season are Shohei Otani, Teoscar Hernandez, and Mookie Betts. Shohei Otani has broken the record of being the first player to get 50 home runs and 59 stolen bases. Next, Teoscar Hernandez is a key player because he is making powerful hits on the left field. Finally, Mookie Betts is a shortstop and right fielder who hits a lot of home runs left and right! These players have been unstoppable this past season as they are always scoring points for the Dodgers.
Coaching Staff
The coaching staff of the Dodgers ensure the team is successful in all aspects of their game strategies. Dave Roberts is the head manager of the Dodgers and he has been coaching the Dodgers for eight years now. Some other coaching staff include, Danny Lehmann (Bench Coach), Aaron Bates (Hitting Coach), Robert Van Scoyoc (Hitting Coach), Mark Prior (Pitching Coach), Clayton McCullough (First Base Coach), Dino Ebel (Third base coach), Josh Bard (Bullpen Coach), Connor McGuiness (Assistant Pitching Coach), and Bob Geren (Major League Field Coordinator).
