I interviewed Valerie Mejia on the Girl’s Varsity Volleyball team and she enjoys playing on her team and likes building new friendships through a sport she loves. Her position in volleyball is a setter. Her position as a setter helps the team in many ways. Each player on her team helps contribute to the team. I asked her what she loves most about her sport and she said that it was the bonds she gets from the players. She says even though volleyball can be very competitive it can also help gain many strong friendships.
