With Five different options to choose from including building your own bowls each bowl represents their culture through different toppings! Their toppings include cacao nibs, condensed milk, chia seed pudding, lilikoi butter, graham cracker, macadamia nut crumble, peanut butter, Nutella, strawberries, and bananas. And smoothies including Mango Maniac, Strawberry Banana wave, Acai power juice, Pina colada, Chocolate PB sunrise, and morning buzz.
I made my own bowl with an acai base, strawberries, Nutella and peanut butter. Creating your own bowl has to be my favorite. It was sweet from the strawberries and nutella and the peanut butter gave it a little bit of a salty taste that goes really well with the chocolate. The base was 100% my favorite part. It was sweet and cold and creamy and had little pieces of strawberries and little pieces of fresh acai in there. I rated it a 10/10 and the service was amazing, everyone was so sweet, and when I was trying to order she let me take my time and wasn’t rushing me. I definitely recommend this shop for a sweet treat.
Shaved ice in paradise 3350 Lower Honoapiilani Rd Lahaina, HI 96761 is located at the end of the strip mall across from L&L Hawaiian barbecue. This small company is a family owned business. The owners do speak Tagalog but also speak English so you could have an amazing conversation with them about their culture. The service there was amazing. They were so sweet and helpful they were really nice to the tourists. Most locals there aren’t really nice to the locals but they were very friendly.
Their menu includes Banana, Guava, Pina Colada, Pineapple, Cherry, Grape, Blue Raspberry, Bubblegum, Tigers Blood, Red Raspberry,Mango, Passion Fruit, Strawberry, Watermelon,Lemon Lime, Coconut, Lychee, Root Beer, Li Hing Mui, Blue vanilla. Also you could put ice cream in the center of it with multiple flavors to choose from. This was so good after a long day and I love the flavor combinations. I would rate this a 9/10 only because with the condensed milk it made it very sweet and if you eat a lot of it it could become too much but besides that it tastes really good.
To sum up everything that has been stated these are great places and you should really consider going if you ever visit maui. Both these places have great service and amazing food and so many choices to choose from. I loved all of these places and I definitely recommend them. They have an amazing culture in Hawaii with lots of different foods representing the uniqueness of the island and people and I fully suggest you go check them out.
